Ben, thanks for your interest in the PowerCost Monitor. I just wanted to point out a couple of things - the model that you featured on the show is the BLI 28000 and was released mid July 2009 as a running model upgrade. New features on this model include the appliance feature, an estimating feature which allows you to make some changes around the home and estimate the 30 day positive impact, a "sleep" function to protect battery life, and a broadened kH factor which really just means that the product is now compatible with larger homes that may have a non standard kH factor. It sounds like you tested the current model and your brother tested the prior model.
